South African tennis player and 2018 Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson has a large pool of loyal fans but among the most noticeable is his adorable dog Lady Kady – who even has her own instagram account.
The energetic Lady Kady, who is a Chihuahua and dachshund mix, was adopted by the World no. 5 men’s singles tennis player in 2017 and has been a member of the Anderson team ever since.

Anderson and his wife of seven years, Kelsey O’Neal, don’t have children but are both proud parents to Lady Kady. “Lady Kady has been the perfect addition to our little family,” Kelsey told their local newspaper. “She has travelled the world with us while Kevin competes on the ATP World Tour visiting places like Barcelona, Paris, London and even South Africa.”
Lady Kady even has her own Instagram account (@ladykadyanderson) with an impressive 2903 followers to document her travels around the world to support her famous owner.
Anderson, who lost against Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon Final on Sunday, has tweeted numerous times that winning and losing doesn’t matter to Lady Kady who is always happy to see him after a long day.

Since adopting Lady Kady in January last year, Anderson has taken to social media to openly encourage dog adoption with #adoptdontshop. According to Delray Newspaper, the Andersons have also raised over $17,000 for Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue where they found Lady Kady.
This month, my parents and I raised nearly $17,000 for Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue! We are thrilled to give back to the place that cared for me until I found my fur-ever home.
