My cat is almost one year old and he seems to not be eating but at the same time is very hungry. Is he just very fussy as we never had this problem previously? He was vomiting often about a week ago and since then his eating habits have changed. We have tried giving him wet food as well as dry food. The wet food he just licks the juice. He likes to drink milk.

It is very difficult to say for sure what this is especially since you did not indicate what kind of cat it is. This could however be a hairball.
Cats groom themselves and the tiny hooks on their tongues catches loose hair, which is then swallowed. The majority of the hair passes through the digestive track, but some hair can stay in the stomach forming a hairball that will make the cat vomit in an attempt to get rid of it.

Common hairball symptoms include hacking, gagging, and retching. Usually, your cat will then vomit the hairball in relatively short order. If you see these symptoms without the cat producing a hairball, take the cat to the vet.
• Other symptoms include diarrhoea, lack of appetite, lethargy and constipation.
• Ask your vet about food for the prevention of hairball and groom your cat regularly.
